I’m sorry, but play Frollo’s mannerisms are unbelievably adorable.
It’s because Daniel plays him so awkwardly restrained that it’s endearing. And the fact that he clutches at his heart a lot like “you hurt my feels” D:

Notre-Dame de Paris
That moment during “Ave Maria Paien” when they zoom in on Daniel as he gazes down WHYYYYYY? THE UNBEARABLE PAIN OH GOD THAT IS WHAT LONGING LOOKS LIKE! I CRIED. SO. HARD. Easily my favorite scene, and it didn’t even last two seconds.
I’m still recovering (coping by drawing crude nonsense.)

I didn’t pass out, but I completely forgot what I wanted to say to him.
Then he signed a CD for me and we posed for a pic (I mean, he took a great pose and I just stood awkwardly next to him) and when I left I almost forgot to take the CD xD

omg, i would kill just to go to Daniel’s concert. you’re so lucky.
I know, I’m very lucky. I live in Québec and that’s where he tours the most, so I could easily go to several shows.
The concert last saturday was the last concert of his tour so I really didn’t want to miss that. I met him again after the show (I had already met him a few times last year) and he remembered me

There are interviews of the cast, and a short video of Julie Zenatti on stage singing “Ave Maria” and backstage singing “Les oiseaux qu’on met en cage”. And Herbert Léonard (the new Frollo) sings an awful version of “Florence” while Daniel Lavoie is standing next to him xD
